What is wrong, people? Like me, no one is posting. Are we bummed that our summer is more than 2/3 done, and (sorry) school is about to begin? I still have to get ready for LCC. I have to get books yet, get school supplies and crap (sorry Kenric) like that.

it doesnt have to be, but it is. i am far from ready for school... but everyone i know (besides John) says to wait to get books. at my orientation the students that i talked to said to wait until you are sure u need the books for the class (go to class a couple times first) and Monica said the same thing. is that blog spam??
do you think that that will apply to lcc? for some reason, mostly because lcc is so messed up, i feel like i should get my books now but i son't want to.........
i dont know why it would be different. john thinks that the cheap books will be gone if u wait... but by waiting u will only get the books u actually need... so i dont know. it does seem weird to wait but i've heard that its the way to go.

John told me to go to half.com, part of Ebay. But some of the books aren't available, so I will have to buy them at the regular price in Lansing.

Half.com is the best. I saved like $100 on books last quarter.

I think that it took me about 3 weeks.
john when did they get you your finacial aid money?
What do you mean? They processed my finacial aid a few weeks after I turned in my paperwork, but I did not get the extra money check till a few weeks after school started. Does this answer your question?

yeah that's what i meant john, i didn't know how many payments i would have to make before they got my finacial aid stuff figured out. i got my bill and paid some of it on FACTS today, man LCC's website is a pain. Ahhhhh i forgot i need to get books
