sorry, i keep posting. i haaaave to though. i finally put in my two weeks at work today...i hate doing things like that, so i put them off until the last minute. my boss had already heard it from someone else in the office though, which isn't good. he was like, "why are you leaving? do they pay good in yellowstone? are you leaving because you don't like it here?" i told him i wanted to get out and have some fun. he replied in all seriousness, "aren't you having fun here?" anyways...i took my writing final today and i just wish i knew now if i was going to get the gpa that tech wants from me or not so that i could plan. today at work, my boss and this other guy wanted me to see this video on global warming (with will ferrell) and how bush is so ignorant of it. and I watched it. i may be on the opposite side of all of you on global warming, but bush is still my boy. this clip really makes fun of him and religion and there's a quote where "bush" says, "of course it's warming up, the earth goes through warming cycles. why do you think adam and eve didn't wear any clothes?" because both my boss and the other guy have ph.d's and think they know it all, not to mention they already look down on me, i didn't feel like arguing with them. aren't i awful?

so what gpa do you have to have?
It is not awful you didn't argue. They might have been beat up.
i'm sure that would go over well tom
yeah rachael, walk up and be like...hey did i ever show you my flippen sweet judo moves...
haha! that would be great. he's so short, i could flip him so easily...but that would be gross.
i'm sorry, but that was pretty irrisponsible for bush to say. he sure does think he is a funny guy. yeah, i voted for him, but bush is definately NOT "my guy." i wish he wouldnt have messed things up so bad, because now a dem is sure to get elected next term, and that isnt cool. at least we basiclaly have complete control of the rest of the government... (which isn't great in my opinion, but i'm a liberal right?)
no, it was will ferrell that said it. but yeah, bush is pretty much not doing a thing about global warming and like you said, it's going to make a lot of people vote democrat. :(
man, you gotta feel sorry for bush sometimes. he's really not that good of a talker and unless his speeches are pre-done or whatever, he doesn't always know how to express what he's thinking. another thing i've noticed, why is it that many people of the LIBERAL media at times make bush look like a complete idiot, and at other times he's this conniving, sly as a fox guy who evily wiretaps people who possibly have a connection to Al-Quada, and does other stuff without people knowing.
jennifer, first of all, what exactly did bush mess up?, second, is it entirely his fault that people think so negatively of him? i know, i know, im a raving superconservative.
You see, Bush is sorta like me, minus the tons of money and he is highest guy in government, and a few years of age. He is crappy at talking in public. And other times, he doesn't know how to express his feelings.
a huge majority of guys dont know how to express their feelings.
our political system is so retarded at times. Amazingly 2 parties are able to represent the entire population. We should have listened to George Washington and never started politcal parties because rather working for liberty they waste their time only caring about whether some one is republican or democrat. Republicans trash deomcrats and Democrats trash republicans. When it comes to voting I'm not concerned what their stance is on anything like global warming or anything else that doesn't have anything to do with moral issues because most likely their both going to screw something up and be turned into a horrible president by the media for it. It's basically left to moral issues for the decision.
adam, global warming is definitely not my top priority when tring to decide who to vote for.
i watached American Dreamz this weekend. I think it gave a pretty good representation of how people see the president (altho funnier than reality). it shows him as a guy with a good heart who loves God and his country but who has been lied to and menipulated and who just wants to help and isn't capable of getting the job done because he just isnt qualified. i think a lot of america sees the president like that.. he means well but he is screwing everything up.
sorry, i have to gripe to someone about my boss!! grrr...ok, he wants me in every day i'm not at school this week 9-5...even though i have nothing to do. i was just talking to him about a flight that i needed to schedule for one of his conferences and he was completely contradicting himself. he doesn't like flying on regional jets. so, i have this possible flight, he says, "this is okay if the 8:00pm flight is a regional jet. if 8:00 is not a regional jet, go with 8:00." we went around and around with him trying to explain what he meant. i didn't get it, he got frustrated thinking that i'm a stupid female so he got his other secretary...i won't even go into whats going on between them...to try to help me understand it and she didn't get it either. so, we're both stupid females. he was getting so frustrated and his logic was so messed up, i actually started laughing. so, i guess if the 8:00 flight is a regional jet, i'll go w/that, but if it isn't, i'll go with the 8:00 flight right?? yeah, riiiight. thanks for listening, i feel better.
yeah...wow...
bosses are stupid.
on the other hand... all the bush bashing does annoy me, i mean read about the stuff other presidents said and did...they all have made completely retarded mistakes...at the same frequency as bush. they are only human. if a president can't even read a book without being made fun of, then something is wrong. lincoln was a complete moron sometimes and he is seen as one of the greatest presidents...and these people who think that they are being fair are worse than the people who are clearly off the wall. it's a case of moderates calling themselves conservative so that the conservatives look like complete off the wall radicals.
Rachael i wasn't saying that was your top priority so please don't assume.
sometimes i can't tell who your comments are aimed and really, with the whole global warming thing, i don't know what people think of me and my political stance.
