it seemed to me that you didn't fully understand the books. if you did indeed read the first one in an hour, that would be about 5 pages a minute or a page in 12 seconds, and it seems unlikely that you would be able to digest the information that quickly. for those of you who want to argue with me, if you have a harry potter book, time yourself. i found that i read a page in about 40 seconds, but that would be faster if i had been reading it for a while. im probably wrong, though, right. me, tom and monica or someone will have to come up with some questions.
Even though Kenric and my comments are going to be ripped to shreds when Sarah reads these, I will just say that, Sarah, you are a liar (this time, not all the time) and I won't believe you, until you say you have a reading/understanding rate of at least compared to a human's.
oh for petes sake kenric, i said i read PART of the book in an hour, i finished it the next morning...in all i think it took about 1 hour amd fourty-five minutes to read the first book...maybe a little more...and i am done with all of them...i took half of yesterday off ( from 1 pm till about 9pm ) to go shopping and do chores...mmonday i took time off for chores and to go to the ark...altho i did spend most of that day reading...today i got up around ten and finished the last book up around 1 ( i read like an 8th of it the night before) so calm down and if you have an quizes i will try my best...
i was serious...if you honestly think i would post as joel just to make it seem like i have support then i am insulted...if you didn't mean it then why did you say it? Don't insult me or Joel by claiming that he follows everything i do just because we agree on a few things...i could say the same about rachael, but i wouldn't because i know it's not true...
yes because clearly walking up elavators, POD, and Harry Potter are everything...( i recall that Rachael agreed with you on all those things too) i am actually mad at you... i don't get mad about the arguing, just you thinking that you can be an elitist and make snide comments everytime we disagree...i have arguments with people quite often...none of them quite compare to you.

Sarah: running up the down escalator is just plain dumb and im above that childish stuff. why would you do something like that. Kenric: the artwork of that POD album could immediately be taken to be blasphemous, therefore it should be considered wrong. Sarah: you obviously don't know good art when you see it, and i know its alright because i have read all kinds of stuff about art. Kenric: Harry Potter, while some parts of it are not so good, is overall an enjoyable book that has an entertaining story. Sarah: harry potter, in some parts was like nails on a chalk board. i have happened to have read books that have much better: plots, conversation, and mechanics. now, i must say that you may not necessarily feel this way about these things, but this is how i myself think you feel about these things. i respect you decision to not like the harry potter books, and to not want to run up the down escalator; thats your decision, but just the way you talk about some stuff, i feel like you think you are so much more refined than everyone. yes, i will admit that i have ego problems of my own that i need to seriously work on, but i always feel like you are the one making the snide comments to me.
do i accuse you of being dishonest? do i tell you that unless you argee with me you are a: "unable to enjoy the simple things in life" b: " are just wrong" ( implying of course that i am not up to your standards) or c: " incapable of judging things objectivly because i dared not like something that you like...and then when i explain why you get all offended...the like or dislike of harry potter is not objective...therefore i have valid readsons for disliking it and you have valid for liking it...you started it by telling me that i must have just made myself not like it...which is a lie...i honestly did not like it...i think that it is stupid and you probably think that buying tons of shoes is usless. so stop crying already...sheesh
oh and believe me, it is way more snide to think that you accurately judge how sheltered i am, when you haven't got a hell of an idea of what you are talking about...then it is for me even if i did think that you were stupid for liking some book series.
