Have any of you ever had morel mushrooms? They are pretty much one of the greatest tasting things ever, if cooked right. My family goes mushroom hunting (no, we refuse to disclose the locations). My dad and me found quite a few the other day. My mouth is literally watering thinking about them.

yeah morels are pretty good. You can find them growing all over state land, mostly under dead elm trees. However, the best tasting wild grown mushroom, or any mushroom for that matter, is the chicken of the woods. I am not making this up. It tastes like chicken except better. It's orange and yellow. We had some growing in our backyard, but someone chopped the wood it was growing on for fire wood. People sell it for ( I think) 20$ or more a pound.
Wow, i think morels are about $13 a pound.
If you go to google and just type in "moral mushrooms" there is a website that sells moral spores. That would be awesome to grow those mushrooms.
but first, you should start by spelling it correctly.
Ben, don't even start. I started spelling it "moral" too. I just caught myself though....
Yeah! We should buy some, grow it and then sell it. Of course we'd eat some too.
hey, did Tom just comment?
Yeah, really, we should do that. I would be willing to chip in.
Yeah, I agree with Kenric, don't comment like me Ben.
But I don't know if I agree with you guys and mushrooms. I personally don't like them all the time, and no one can argue with my personal desires of food.
wow, this blog is getting really lame.
I second that...( practice what you preach, Jennifer, post something. And Rachael, how did that thing you had to do at the Capital go? )
Jennifer, you obviously have never had morel mushrooms before. They are awesome.
