Today at school my teacher assigned an agrumentive (spelling is bad I know, or the word doesn't even exist) paper to do next week. I was thinking maybe some of you could help me come up with a topic to debate about. She gave us a lot of ideas but I just want to know your thoughts. However, abortion can't be discussed. Because every year she has to read about it, and I guess, she doesn't want to change her opinion on it!

Well...you could debate spiders and the fear they cause.
Or you could do something on the pitfalls of subjective thinking.
Or the "progressive religion" that is coming about in public schools where religion is pretty much banned. Ex. evolution is fact, abortion helps society, religion occupies the weak-minded, etc.
I also forgot to mention that we have to describe the other view on the issue.
Sarah, I don't think I could possibly come up with a paper on fearing spiders since I have no knowledge of it and I would be going against what I think.
